Miss Culture Malawi Malumbo Mtonga has stepped up preparations for Miss Culture International to be held in South Africa next month by calling for votes for her to do well.<\/p>\n

Mtonga, who was crowned Miss Culture Malawi in June this year, said Tuesday that she needs more votes ahead of Miss Culture International grand finale running from November 28 to December 4.<\/p>\n

\u201cThirty-nine countries are competing including Malawi. So as is per tradition with many beauty pageants, there is online voting to get people into the top 15 and, in this case, contestants that will have highest votes especially top five will automatically make it into the top 15,\u201d Mtonga said.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

She said being in top 15 means one has chances of winning and that voting makes it easier for one to succeed and have less competition.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a link that people can follow\u00a0www.pageantvote.net\/1492<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and then you follow the instructions and vote for a contestant. There is also another way where you can give your contestant a boost by buying votes. Zimbabwe, for instance, has 8,000 votes now because they are capable of buying votes and well-wishers can help,\u201d Mtonga said.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the grand finale, Kljajic said they have sent out Miss Culture Malawi Second Princess Murimu Kachitsa to represent the country at the Miss Premium.<\/p>\n
